Dr. Tebbe has been a veterinarian for more than 46 years. Following graduation from The Ohio State University in 1962, he set up practice in his home town Fort Recovery, Ohio. In 1972 he was singled out as one of the top six food animal veterinarians in the country by the State Department. Years later, operating a busy large animal practice John Wayne invited Dr. Tebbe to join the 26 Bar Staff. Dr. Tebbe fell in love with Arizona. A crazed Simmetal cow broke Dr. Tebbe's neck. That made his decision to become a small animal practitioner all the easier to make. He opened a small animal practice in Sun City West, Az. There Dr. Tebbe brought laser surgery and many new diagnostic applications to his clinic. His love for geriatric pets inspired his purchase of his Shock Wave Machine. Shock Wave was introduced into his practice in 2002, and since that time, he has used this technique on more than a thousand dogs and over 300 horses, with great results. Doc and Margie moved up to Paulden to retire. After 5 years he could not stand being away from his animals. Doc and Margie opened High Country Pet Clinic in June 2007. It is here that he continues his passion and his lifes work.
